How to use jpg to png
PNG is useful when an upload specifically asks for PNG. Converting JPEG to PNG preserves the decoded pixels but does not restore detail already lost in the JPEG. The PNG file will often be larger.

Does PNG improve JPEG quality?
No. Format conversion cannot recover original detail.
Will the background become transparent?
